Yesterday, Accsys and neaMetrics signed a deal with SOS Children’s Village at the Accsys head office in Sandton to give the NPO time and attendance systems at no cost. This system will first be rolled out in the national head office with Children’s Villages across the country to come on line in the near future. The approximate value of this system is R30 000.

This project appealed to Accsys, especially CEO Teryl Schroenn, who jumped at the opportunity to assist SOS with giving them the software as she felt this was an opportunity to make a real, lasting difference.

Yvonne Stiglingh, head of fund development and communication at the national office of SOS Children’s Village, said that this new system would assist them greatly as previously they had to measure their staff’s attendance manually, which was not a very accurate method whereas now they would be able to enjoy the conveniences and accuracy of having this process automated.

Have a look at our Facebook page to see some of the photos I took at the event. While you’re there, why don’t you check out some of our latest articles!
