We’ve been talking about this event since the beginning of the year…
The whole HR Pulse team is so excited we can hardly contain ourselves!
The Global Success Summit is taking place next weekend at the Sandton Convention Centre right here in Jozi. This is the first time this summit has ever taken place in South Africa. Do you have your tickets?
And the line-up of speakers is so brilliant that I’m sure we will all have to wear our sunglasses just to be able to watch them (excuse the metaphor but I’m star struck…):
- There’s John Demartini, global leading human behavioural specialist, educator and author;
- As well as Adam Ginsburg, the world’s number one speaker on how to make money online using platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Craigslist, Google and Twitter; and
- Last, but certainly not least, there’s Sir Richard Branson who I know will tell us how to Screw business as usual. No, I’m not being vulgar – I was quoting one of Sir Richard’s book titles…
Recently, I spoke to Samantha Brown, CEO of the Association for Office Professionals of South Africa, to get the inside scoop on the event.
Lia Marus (LM): What is the Global Success Summit?
Samantha Brown (SB): It is a two-day conference focused on creating wealth. The conference has a diverse yet balanced programme which is intended to maximise all aspects of business, and entrepreneurial and personal development.
It will cover wealth creation, career development, work/life balance, personal health, well-being and fulfilment.
The Success Summit will give delegates the opportunity to hear the proven principles and methods, first-hand, that leading, successful experts in a variety of fields have used to rise to the top of their industries – and stay there.
LM: Who is the conference aimed at?
SB: The conference is aimed at individuals who are looking for unique opportunities to create wealth and a better quality of life. It has been designed to separate the dreamers from the doers. In other words, those looking for the answers that will accelerate their success.
LM: What message do you hope people who attend this conference will come away with?
SB: There are opportunities available to all South Africans who are ready to seek these out actively and make the most of them. We want people who attend this conference to realise they have the freedom to choose, to grow as individuals and to flourish as communities.
