Managers often complain that their workers have poor attitudes and do not take responsibility for their work.

Managers often complain that their workers have poor attitudes and do not take responsibility for their work. To address this issue and to help leaders turn the attitudes of their staff around, FTI Professional Services will run an inspiring two-day workshop called Becoming an Extra-ordinary Leaderin August. Participants will receive practical and relevant insights to develop their personal leadership skills, straightforward tools to increase their influence and gain insight into the timeless practices of exemplary leaders.

The workshop is led by Dr Brett Solomon, a leadership expert, organisational development consultant and a specialist at facilitating the design and creation of high performance cultures in organisations. According to Solomon: "A leader's behaviour has a direct influence on staff performance, productivity, and the overall success of an organisation."

"This is a no-nonsense, battle-tested programme for developing exceptional leadership skills to benefit both the organisation and the individual."

"The workshop will tackle the skills and behaviours that encompass extra-ordinary leadership, which, when practiced will elevate and distinguish those on the course from the rest of the pack," said Solomon.

Participants will discover their leadership strengths and weaknesses, be able to recognise the behaviours that demonstrate effective leadership in workplace situations, draft a growth and action plan to further develop their leadership abilities, learn how to successfully increase their influence and understand how their leadership styles affect productivity.

The course is aimed at business people, be they managers, supervisors, team leaders professionals, entrepreneurs, anyone "keen on successfully increasing their influence and wanting to acquire the competencies of high performing leaders," says Solomon.

The Becoming an Extra-ordinary Leader workshop turns good managers into great leaders! – "participants will successfully increase their influence and will develop an empowering leadership style so that people will want to follow them," said Solomon.
