Download as iCal file
From Sunday 09 November 2014
To Wednesday 12 November 2014

The 2014 IPM Annual Convention is premised on the following essentials as outlined in the McKenzie Quarterly and other research–based sources.

Today's organisations:

  • Face challenges ranging from dealing with the next phase of globalisation to disruptive technological change and continued macro-economic uncertainty
  • Need to understand that context is a critical component that impacts how we do business;
  • Realise identifying key leadership qualities is a key strategic imperative that impacts organisational success; Should be able to position HR and lead organisations successfully in the present day volatile, globalised, and hyper-connected age; and
  • Appreciate the need to develop organisational resilience in a world where global emergencies seem to erupt at ever short intervals

In his book, Great by Choice, Jim Collins notes that some companies and leaders navigate this type of world exceptionally well. This is what the 2014 IPM Annual Convention aims to achieve. Research has shown that greatness is achievable in organisations where HR leads courageously - hence the choice of this year's theme.

At this year's IPM Annual Convention, you will be exposed to winning strategies in Human Capital leadership and organisational effectiveness. Experience the intimacy of truly interactive sessions, both in the plenary and breakaway sessions.

If you want you and your organisation to be great by choice as Jim Collins asserts, the 2014 IPM Annual Convention is a "must attend"!
