Launch of South Africa's first Regionally Based HR Master Class Series
Press release issued by TDCI
TDCI in association with Regenesys Business School and the SABPP will be launching South Africa's first regionally based HR Master Class Series on 26 June 2015. The first series will be hosted in the Western Cape, with the Gauteng, KZN, and Eastern Cape short on its heels.
According to Cicil Visser, Director of the HR Master Class Series, the purpose of this initiative is firstly to support HR practitioners in their quest to professionalize their practice and become fully-fledged strategic business partner, and secondly to create a support and networking community within the region.
According to Stacey-Leigh Chalklen, Marketing and Events Manager of Regenesys, the series will provide a platform for HR professionals to continuously develop, enquire and compare best practice, as well as benchmark against industry leaders. Bonnie Johansen, Chairperson of the Western Cape SABPP branch, also mentions that this initiative encapsulates an expanding knowledge of the industry, exposure to high end corporates, as well as the building of a professional HR network all the while enjoying the very best on offer in the beautiful Cape Winelands.
The HR Master Class Series combines cutting edge HR practice and invaluable networking opportunities with the sublime setting and experiences of the Cape Winelands. The Wine Estates were carefully selected according to their culinary art, panoramic views and prize winning wines. Each Wine Estate provides a unique experience along with its wine tasting; be it vineyard excursions at Delheim, grape stomping at Dornier, cellar tours at Spier, barrel tasting at Webersburg or production tours at JC Le Roux. Delegates also get the opportunity to experiment with food and wine pairings presented by the Estates' wine maker; ranging from chocolate and wine, olive and wine, cheese and wine as well as nougat and MCC. At each event there will be lucky draw prizes plus delegates will receive a complimentary bottle of the Wine Estate's house wine.
The first Master Class Series will be hosted on the 26th of June 2016 at the luxurious Webersburg Wine Estate. Acclaimed authors, industry leaders and academics will speak about the evolution of HR and its strategic imperative.
