Discovery award affirms XLink’s ‘healthy’ approach to business

Hot on the heels of three awards in this year’s Deloitte Best Company to Work For (BCTWF), M2M specialist XLink Communication’s commitment to healthy, happy employees has granted it a top award in the Discovery 2014 Healthiest Company Index’s Small Company category.

In addition, XLink recently boosted its Work Life Balance programme “Xccelerate Cycle Team”, which equips the employee with a bike and a training program, to increase their personal fitness and also serves as a team building opportunity across the business. As a result of this program, seventeen employees have already participated in the 2014 947 cycle challenge.

XLink Communications CEO Anton Leal said “Our proactive management of the physical and mental health of our employees has resulted in a reduction in absenteeism, greater employee engagement, low staff turnover and increased productivity.”

Head of People Services Nicky Ludeke added that Work Life Balance is a vital part of XLink’s human resources strategy. “We want to motivate each employee and empower their success. Our philosophy of ‘organised enthusiasm’ instils positivity, diligence, ownership and dedication to empower employees to achieve their personal goals, which in turn fuels XLink’s success by increasing employee satisfaction and commitment.”

XLink also provides resources and support to enable employees to achieve their career aspirations. They offer a variety of skills development programs through our training facility, the Link Academy which creates a happy company culture that encourages the right behaviours.
