Are you employees being honest with you?

Employers have been forced to find innovative ways to keep a track on their employees’ whereabouts and actions. Econz Wireless has announced yet another tranche of new features to prevent time and attendance fraud of mobile workers.

South Africa is notorious for false clock ins (and outs), especially if organisations are still using mechanical time and attendance systems or relying on mobile systems where anyone could be on the mobile device. This is especially true of field staff such as field service or maintenance teams, on construction sites, security teams and even sales teams.

With the new Timecard that features GPS photo ID and capture stops, time and pay theft, employers will be able to reduce false clock-ins as well as buddy clock-ins. Employees must be within 100 meters of their destination/site to clock-in, and managers will be able to see their employees' current location and supervisors will get a notification when the GPS location feature has been switched off.

These new features will make it easier to manage your employees. Thomas Marshall, National Sales Manager, Econz Wireless South Africa says that following the complete new Timecard GPS build, we have added a further set of features that will bring even better workforce management to both field staff managers as well as payroll and on-site team leaders. He adds that their Timecard GPS app works on any Android or iOS mobile device, and their customers in various industry sectors have asked for features that eliminate problems and requirements as they occur within their workforce.
