Many SMEs and big corporates don’t understand the value of internships and how these programmes can grow a company’s workforce. However, those who do see the value in hiring interns don’t know where they can source the best candidates for the job. A dynamic duo has solved this problem with a very innovative platform.
Internfit is the first online marketing platform that aims to connect businesses with graduates and students looking for internships. Founded by two young Johannesburg-based students, David Feinberg and Nicholas Bernstein, the platform markets available internship positions, learnerships and vocational work opportunities to students and graduates who are hungry for experience.
Born out of David and Nicholas’ own experiences in finding internships, the co-founders believe that we can only get South Africa working through companies making internships and learnerships available to graduates.
Nicholas’s vision is for Internfit to become the “LinkedIn for students” as he says, rightly so, that experience is king in today’s world and they want to help South Africa’s unemployed get this experience.
